FTC Disclosure
Affiliate disclosure
In plain English: The Supplement Almanac makes money through affiliate commissions, that money never buys a better review, and it never adds a cent to your price. Here are the details.
Last updated: July 2026
How we earn
This website is supported by readers. When we link to a manufacturer’s official website — for example, the “Check Price” buttons on our Glucotide review — those are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same price you would pay going there directly; the commission comes out of the seller’s margin, not your pocket.
Why it does not bias our reviews
We score every product using the same criteria whether or not an affiliate program exists, and we publish the drawbacks. Our Glucotide review, for instance, gives it an editorial 4.2 out of 5, flags its undisclosed ingredient doses as its biggest weakness, and includes critical one and two-star user reviews. If commissions determined our verdicts, we would not do any of that. A commission gives us a reason to keep the lights on, not a reason to lie to you.
FTC compliance
We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). That means we disclose our material connection clearly and near the links it applies to: you will see a disclosure banner at the top of every page that contains affiliate links, short disclosure notes beside the buttons themselves, and this dedicated page. We believe you have a right to know how a site that recommends products makes its money.
What we are not
The Supplement Almanac is an independent review publication. We are not the manufacturer of Glucotide, we are not its official store, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the company that makes it. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary. Any statement about the product reflects our editorial opinion and the aggregated experiences of users, not the manufacturer’s marketing.
